Our Skills

Emissions Monitoring

Our monitoring capabilities of an extensive range of compounds and processes includes:
  • Particulate Matter;
  • Velocity;
  • Temperature;
  • Flowrates;
  • Sulphur Oxides (SOx);
  • Nitrogen Oxides (NOx);
  • Metals (Fume and Particulate);
  • Aldehydes (including formaldehyde);
  • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC);
  • Semi-Volatile Organic Compounds;
  • Polynuclear Aromatic Hydrocarbons (16 USEPA Priority Pollutants);
  • Dioxins and Furans (PCDD/PCDF);
  • O2, CO, CO2;
  • Isocyanate Compounds.
We have measurement experience from a wide range of industries, including emissions from:
  • Brick Manufacturing Plants,
  • Refineries,
  • Food Manufacturing Plants,
  • Industrial Ventilation Exhausts,
  • Power Stations,
  • Abattoirs,
  • Smelters,
  • Incinerators,
  • Foundries,
  • Boilers and
  • Cement Manufacturing Plants.

The range of sampling and test methodologies we offer includes:

  1. Australian Standard techniques,
  2. United States EPA and NIOSH methodologies.

Air Noise Environment owns the full range of sampling and testing equipment for the provision of these services. The most appropriate sampling methodologies and analytical regimes are determined prior to project commencement.

We work closely with a number of NATA accredited laboratories to ensure that a high quality and cost effective analytical service can be offered.

Air Noise Environment also has the capabilities and experience for the monitoring of dioxins in both stack emissions and ambient air.
